1. Scope of Engineering Acceleration

CostSeg provides a cloud-based platform for accelerated cost segregation engineering takeoffs. Our software is designed to perform document extraction and preliminary asset mapping based on **IRS Revenue Procedure 87-56**.

**Notice:** We are not a licensed tax, financial, or legal firm. All reports generated through this portal are intended for professional use by a certified reviewer (CPA or Professional Engineer).

2. AI Identification & Accuary

AI Accuracy Standards

Users acknowledge that AI-augmented results are strictly **preliminary and advisory.** While our engine maintains high engineering precision, variations in source document quality (closing statements, surveys, etc.) can impact AI confidence. CostSeg does not guarantee 100% identification of every short-life asset.

"The machine rationale for asset classification is provided as a suggested data point. The Final Determination of MACRS life is the sole responsibility of the human reviewer of record."

3. Mandatory Professional Review

It is a condition of use that every report generated by CostSeg be reviewed and signed off by a qualified professional before being submitted to the IRS or any other authority.

USERS AGREE THAT FILING AN UNCERTIFIED AI-GENERATED REPORT MAY RESULT IN AUDIT DISCREPANCIES OR TAX PENALTIES FOR WHICH THE USER ASSUMES FULL AND EXCLUSIVE RESPONSIBILITY.

4. Proprietary Engineering Logic (IP)

CostSeg grants the User a limited, non-exclusive license to use the platform for the generation of specific property reports. **All underlying logic, Rev. Proc. 87-56 mapping algorithms, and proprietary OCR models** are the trade secrets and intellectual property of Engineering AI Labs.

Extraction of our classification datasets, reverse engineering of our "AI confidence" logic, or any unauthorized scraping for the purpose of training competitor models is strictly prohibited and will be prosecuted under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

5. Limitation of Liability
